Dzzee released: DOS/Win32/Glide/3DS/Vita/WebGL

Dzzee, a small arcade game that I developed in the previous weekends is now available. It comes as a retro port to DOS and Windows 9x (even supporting the 3Dfx Voodoo graphics chips of the 90s) as well as Homebrew ports to 3DS and Vita.

There is also a modern Windows port using OpenGL and SDL2, as well as a port to WebGL using Emscripten and WebAssembly. The core gameplay loop and OpenGL renderer is the same all the way from the DOS (OSMesa) port that can run on early 90s machines all the way to recent WebAssembly-supporting browsers.

The (slightly faster) software rasterizer for DOS is custom, as are the renderers for the 3DS and Vita (using the respective 2D rendering libraries that make use of hardware-accelerated rendering). The 3Dfx Glide port (available in both DOS and Win32 variants) uses the nifty Glide API, you can play them also using Glide wrappers or PCem/DOSBox-X.
